About Audra

I provide individual and couples psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. My approach is eclectic and draws from insight oriented, behavioral, family systems, and relational theories. I employ a holistic approach in my work and enjoy teaching relaxation techniques and mindfulness based meditation. I place an emphasis on building safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship and establishing a genuine, empathic connection. I use humor and seek to create a lively, warm environment. My clients and colleagues describe me as engaging, nurturing, and non-judgmental.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University. Prior to starting my private practice I provided individual and group therapy at Fenway Health and Riverside Outpatient Center in Newton. I also worked as an urgent care clinician at Harvard University. My experiences as a psychotherapist have connected me with people from diverse cultures, races, classes, religions, sexual orientations and gender identities.
